Description: UCR Diversity Web Kick-Off!
On May 31 from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM, the Offices of the Chancellor, Executive Vice Chancellor, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Vice Chancellor for Advancement, and Vice Provost for Conflict Resolution and Chancellor's Special Assistant for Excellence and Diversity are sponsoring a Diversity Web Kick-Off. Scheduled for the Belltower, Rivera Library Arches, and Olmstead Plaza, the event will showcase the following:
• A departmental faire,
• An open-mike provided by KUCR,
• A rock climbing wall;
• Free pizza, T-shirts, and other give-aways
The goal is to launch the inaugural Diversity@UCR website, which will highlight in one web-based site the diversity-oriented programs and services of students, faculty and staff that make UCR "the place to be" for diversity and excellence. The website will connect the diversity activities of UCR to the rest of the nation and the world community. The whole campus community, interested area residents, and alumni are all encouraged to attend the event.
